It has been awhile since I've featured anything from this group. Life has been busy between work, nearing the end my degree, searching for a masters program and/or career, and striving to be the best I can be. The cost has been my artistic side - temporarily neglected however necessary. I've actually been cursed with too many interests in life, making it nearly impossible to spread myself thin and achieve everything that I love. While my creativity awaits in the shadows, it knows I will return to it. However sad, it must be put on hold. And though I sometimes think I should not be on deviantART because it really grabs my attention and time, I like to make an appearance now and again because it is an inspiring place to be, filled with talent and great people. What is the Alliance, you ask?
The Alliance is a project group intended to encourage visual and literary artists to work together. I've felt for some time that the dA Literature Community can at times be somewhat insular - to its detriment. We in the Lit Community are also sometimes prone to griping about the lack of exposure our work receives when compared to that of visual artists. So in the spirit of ^thorns brilliant Complaint Challenge I thought I would try to do something about that. And so the Alliance was born!
Because I, your founder, have a deep and abiding love for the seasons, this group will now host seasonal contests, and as the Autumn Contest is now over, it is time for Winter to reig
