Sin: Ira, Latin for "Wrath"
(This series is based on the Seven Deadly Sins, but with my own metaphysical spin on it, utilizing the qualities of the elements in their expression.)
Fire is the element of impassioned rage.. the heat that rips through our veins and spills in violence.
I borrowed this inspiration from an actual event I witnessed as a former college roommate of mine ripped her shirt open and carved a heart into her chest with her fingernails due to a spurned relationship.
